Remote Site Asset Monitoring

I need to see my site status, even when there's no power.

Suppose, the door to the substation is vandalised, dust or insects have ingressed the electrical equipment and vermin are nesting in the cables. Bad humidity is penetrating cable insulation and water is leaking underneath the HVAC unit.
For these and many other situations, I want to be automatically informed by the Switzercloud in order to intervene and take appropriate action to resolve the issue. Ideally, before my customers even notice it. So that I can focus on my day-to-day business the team behind the Switzercloud should organize all the necessary elements and run the entire solution for me.

Sensors

Our solution contains battery-operated sensors that capture various parameters and sends them to the Switzercloud for further processing. These can include;
  • Level Monitoring, Asset Tracking, Parking Sensing
  • Door and Window Sensing, Motion Detection
  • Temperature, Humidity, CO2, Luminosity
  • Notification Button and many more

Gateways

Sensors send the measured data to an IoT gateway, possibly using LoRaWAN, Sigfox or another IoT technology. IoT gateways provide good reception in and around buildings and require an Internet connection.

The IoT gateways connect all your sensors to the IoT platform on the Switzercloud.

IoT Platform

On the Switzercloud, the raw data from the sensors is processed, securely stored and prepared so that it can be visualised in an intelligible form.

In addition to the IoT platform, several end-applications are made available to you and your end customers.
