SODAQ and Brunata offer Europe-wide tracking with NB-IoT

Dutch based SODAQ and Swiss company Brunata AG deliver Europe-wide asset tracking on the Switzercloud for the Internet of Things (IoT) based on Narrowband IoT.

The partnership combines integration of SODAQ's cutting edge low power tracker with the high versatility of Brunata's Switzercloud IoT platform, thereby providing businessess with a tracking solution that works seamlessly across Europe.

Crossing borders across Europe with Narrowband IoT

The additional connectivity and software integration on the Switzercloud brings extra capability of being able to interface with cellular networks using Narrowband IoT (nbIoT) radio technology. Because of this, users can now realise use cases which need visibility nationwide or across European borders such as logistics, asset positioning and tracking as well as many more.

Brunata is currently using SODAQ devices for a Swiss customer who wants to uncover problems with his supply chain for fresh products on the way to Switzerland. The products cross several countries. After evaluating the data, the two companies will launch an offer based on the Switzercloud motto "Unpack, Plug-in, Start!".
